Italian brand Car Shoe was founded by Gianni Mostile and is well known for its signature driving shoe, a handmade moccasin with rubber grip sole. Mostile had a passion for race cars and shoes and thus developed a brand that has become one of the most inventive shoe designs, finding popularity with the likes of JFK and Roberto Rossellini. Since being bought by Prada in 2001 Car Shoe has opened flagship stores in Milan and Capri and launched a bag collection.
